Jess Jackson - Investment Manager, Praetura Ventures
Jess has extensive experience supporting businesses, including at Praetura Ventures where she is responsible for identifying and managing investment opportunities for our EIS Growth Fund and the GMC Life Sciences Fund By Praetura.
As well as having a passion for social impact companies, Jess is a founding member of Fund Her North, a collective which champions investment opportunities for women. Prior to joining Praetura, Jess worked at GC Angels, overseeing fund deployment into a wide range of businesses.
David Levine, Principal at Manchester Angels & CEO at Glenluna Ventures
David is a serial entrepreneur in the technology sector and Principal at Manchester Angels; a technology investment angel network in partnership with leading global tech advisory GP Bullhound and commercial property specialist Bruntwood. He also runs Glenluna Ventures, a tech advisory business that raises money for early-stage startups and scaleups.
As Founder and ex CEO of Visual Commerce business DigitalBridge (now Fixtuur) he pioneered the use of AI in consumer-facing design solutions concluding deals with some of the world's largest DIY retailers
He is an advisor and NED for several technology startups/scaleups and supports those businesses through early growth and fund-raising journeys; he has raised millions in funding for both his business and for others.
Jordan Dargue, Co-Founder of Lifted ventures
Jordan Dargue, a visionary senior executive, board director and angel investor in her own right revolutionising the investment landscape with unrivalled passion for diversity, innovation finance and a proven track record of success.
Jordan has made a significant impact in the investment landscape, having been recognised for her achievements in making a difference for SME’s to access early stage finance.
As the former co-leader, Director and Board Member of NorthInvest, as well as co-founder of Fund Her North, and Founder of Women Angels of the North an angel syndicate which she grew to 50 women to support and back female founders. Jordan has led multi million equity-based investment rounds, developed award winning investor networks and supported thousands of SME’s to raise investment.
Jordan has recently Co-Founded Lifted Ventures to support diverse entrepreneurs to access early stage investment.
Lifted Angels are an angel and co-investor network which is primed to address the lack of funding going to diverse entrepreneurs outside of London, promoting the business benefits to backing female founders.
